FAVOURITES FROM NY FASHION WEEK 16

As New York fashion week 16 is coming to an end I wanted to list a few favourites of mine. From garments, make-up and locations. My first favourite comes from Alexander Wang's fall collection and is the "tattooed" sheer black tights. All though I might not be a tattoo fan or get a real one myself, I would have no trouble at all dressing my legs in these roc-chich stockings to live up a skirt or dress next fall. From the varietes of words printed, 'GIRLS' were my first choice because well, it's girl power.

Another favorite was the make-up and hair at the Fenty x Puma show by Rihanna. Slicked back hair has always been a hairstyle I love but add some white paint to that and black lipstick and you have something completely different and new. I think overall Rihanna did a great job in assembling the garments with the hair-and make-up style that she went for which I believe unified the collection and show.

When it comes to hair, anything that takes more effort than a pony tail impresses me (this is due to my useless ability to do anything else). The tight pair of twin plaits that was not only on seen on models during the week but also on fashionistas off the catwalk such as Kim Kardashian. I think this hairdo looks best when worn as a casual street style like down below, styled with a grey hoodie and black fur coat. All I need to do now is find someone who can make this look happen for me.
