Kelly Cutrone is the PR guru who became known to the public through the American TV-show, The Hills.
I remember watching the show and how Cutrone was running her company, People's Revolution with an iron fist, being anything but sweet or nice. I used to think that she was a mean, evil person who spoke to her employees in a way that I never seen anyone do before, but as I'm now a few years older (and hopefully a little more wiser), I look at her differently. Being the successful woman that she is, is very impressive and perhaps I now believe that her attitude were necessary to get places and that she actually pushed people to do better, but in her own, 'special' way. Watching Cutrone in action makes it clear that she is cut throat and clear to the point, no messing around. With two New York Time best sellers- "If You Have to Cry, Go Outside: And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You" and Normal Gets You Nowhere, really reinforces the idea that Kelly is not the boss you go to for a hug or a few supportive words.
As my goal is to pursue a career in PR, I can't make up my mind whether working for Kelly Cutrone would be a dream come true or a living nightmare, however if it ever did happen, I'm sure the tissues wouldn't be far away.
